I had to start out my post with a young Clint Eastwood. He
always makes me feel a little naughty (and not just at Christmas time… ;-))
I didn’t just post Mr. Eastwood’s picture because I like to
drool over him (okay, that’s part of the reason, lol) but because this young,
rough Clint makes me think of the hero in my recent release Forbidden Angel.
This man tops the naughty list every year.
In fact, I don’t think Santa has ever brought him anything—not even a lump of
coal for poor Aurel Rothstein. Well, I guess he isn’t so poor, considering he’s
a Nazi doctor at a concentration camp. I mean, you can’t much naughtier than a
Nazi, right?
In Forbidden Angel, Aurel learns that being on the naughty
list isn’t all it’s cracked up to be; especially when he meets the beautiful
Sarah Brenner. Falling in love isn’t something he expected, especially not in
the heart of WWII with a Jewish woman whom he has indirectly helped enslave.
Believe it or not, being a Nazi is just the beginning of
Aurel’s wicked ways. He finds that he can’t keep himself away from the
beautiful Jewish prisoner. He makes it his goal to win her—all of her—body,
heart, and soul. Can he redeem himself, save the woman he loves, and earn her
love in return? There’s only one way to find out.
