SJ Thomas on Flashing

Today I have the lovely SJ Thomas telling us a little bit about flashing--NO there are no topless pictures. I swear... you and your dirty mind. Lol, okay all jokes aside, this kind of flashing is even better than topless ladies. Take it away SJ! :-)

Thank you for having me, it's great to be here.

Today I am going to talk flashing. Flash fiction that is. For those of you not familiar, flash fiction is a short piece of fiction, often 200 - 1000 words in length, that gives you a flash of a story. My publisher, Breathless Press, showcases a lot of flash fiction written by it's authors and every Sunday a picture is posted on the blog to inspire anyone to have a go at flashing www.breathlessblog.com It's a lot of fun and is a great writing exercise.

Sometime last year the authors had the idea of putting together a flash fiction anthology and the wonderful editors gave us the go ahead. In October Freaky Flashes was published and Hot Flashes will be out in March.

Freaky Flashes, featuring my flash Strength's Curse, is a collection of 13 sinister and spooky tales and it makes the perfect antidote to all that Christmas cheer.

SJ Thomas bio

Writing sizzling paranormal romance and erotica and dark paranormal horror SJ Thomas has been published in several anthologies and had her first stand alone novellas published in 2012. She reads, writes, and breathes sexy possessive paranormal creatures and the heroines (or heroes) that bring them to their knees. SJ lives in the South West of England with her wonderful husband and a very spoilt Springer Spaniel and she has a full time day job so has to fit her writing in when she can, but of course would love to write full time one day. When not writing or working she enjoys reading, walking, geocaching, and surfing badly.
